Got a chance to visit manchester of Tamilnadu Coimbatore, the very fist observation is language and culture, there is lot of respect words in the speech. (அண்ணா, தம்பி)
The traffic in Coimbatore was higher than expected. Most of the roads are good and wide still the traffic was high luckily it is moving traffic. Every one I met complained about the power cuts. Looks like it is 14 hours power cut in the city. I do see lot Malayalam speaking people in Kovai. There is a Tidel park, I heard TCS, Wipro have there branches.
Isha Yoga Center
I visited the Isha Yoga Center, it was 30 KM from the city. It is located the down hills of Velliangiri and just start of dense forest area. It was scenic location. There are two parts, one Dhyanalinga entry and the other is Yoga Center entry.

Dhyanalinga
Dhyanalinga
Dhyanalinga is the spherical building and at the center, there is a huge Linga. Before visiting the Dhyanalinga, we are shown with a two minutes Dhyanalinga intro video. People are allowed in batches inside the Dhyanalinga. Inside the globe pin-drop silence is maintained. People are allowed to enter or leave only at the bell sound. Sitting in complete silence was great experience.
Lingabiravi
There is also a Lingabiravi, which I never seen anywhere else. Silence is maintained in this place, with a chanting going on in the background.
Theerthakund
There was a Theerthakund, Mercury linga immersed in to the water, people can immerse in water and touch the linga.

Every aspect of this place is done with artistic and modern touch. There were shopping area and food court.

There were lot of negative energy about this yoga center in the local crowd. Any how I had great experience in this place. It is really a unique experience, though I haven’t felt holy presence but there is a peace.
