- We drove on the Hyderabad – Bangalore highway (NH7), it was a great experience. I could able to go between 100 and 120 KM/Hr. some time I could able to touch 140 KM/Hour.
- We need to take turn in the mid of NH, which we found with the help of local people. then we drive towards Gadwal, Ieeja and Yeregeri. The local people told we can not reach Ieeja directly as in the map so we went to Gadwal & reach Ieeja.
- The road between Yeregeri and Madhavaram is like a bullock-card, I could not able to go more than 20 km/hr in this road. It was about 10 KM distance.
- Near Madhavaram, the Tunghabadra river dam is damaged due to the last year flood. There is a temporary mud road with support of rocks on the river, which is very difficult to drive. We cross the rough road with humpty dumpty jumps.
From Madhavaram to Mantralayam is 10 Kms. The road was excellent, we can see the goshala on the way. - We reach Mantralayam at 8:00 PM, we took Mantralayam Mutt double room. The rent is 300/- per day and 200/- advance. The room much spacious and good.
- We got into the room refreshed and visited the Mutt in the night. We could able to get the decorated darshan of Brindavan and Krishna vigraha jojo.
- Next day morning we started at 7:00 AM try to explore Tunghabadra river. There is not water in the river. The little water is also not clean. So we skipped taking tip at river.
- Took bath at the hotel room, went to Mutt, had a Brindavan dharshan at close proximity. If you wear dhotis, you are treated as VIP and you can go in a special queue to have dharshan in close proximity.
- My want to make sure we get Muthra Arathana. So we meed Rayar Mutt samugulu got his blessings. We also took the Muthra Arathana (heated Shanku, Chakra stamp)
- It took a while to meet Samugulu as it was very crowded.
- Then we went for the Annadhana place, where there is a separate hall for Brahmins. We took the Brahmins hall, had lunch.
- The lunch was good and it was Karnataka style all the food had a sweet flavour.
The food included, Payasam, Kosambari, Chitrannam, Sambar, Rasam, Curd Rice and Chatney. The hall is really big it serves 500 people in one go. They serve very quickly and it well maintained and managed. - We are back to the room after the heavy lunch. Took some rest and in the evening 4:00 we started to Panchamuki.
- To visit Panchamuki hanuman we need to cross the river, I don’t want to risk my car with the dam road, so we took the local auto.
- The road is really bad condition. The auto wala was driving in his own style. It was shaky journey.
- Panchamuki Hanuman mandir is just a place where Raghavendra got darsan of Panchamuki hanuman. There is no statue. It is just carving on the stone.
- We are back to Mantralayam, had some shopping. Amma got new Jeans handback.
Next day morning, we had dharshan. Purchased prasadam. Started out journey back at 11:00 - While coming back we tried new road from Ieeja, which costed 30 km extra distance. but we manage to reach Hyderabad at 3:30 pm.
- Reached Hyderabad, had tiffin at Udupi Hotel then reached home!
